Most plants will not be harmed by chlorine, but you must consider plants that are fragile to over watering alongside the pool.   2. Azalea.
  3. Bougainvillea.
  4. Crape myrtle.
  5. Dwarf arborvitae.
  6. Honeysuckle.
  7. Ash trees.
  8. Evergreen elm.

Using plants that do not grow very quickly, and the leaves don’t fall in the water would limit the amount of debris that ends up in your swimming pool.This is very important to maintain your pools filter due to it can break the water filter and damage the water pump.
